SERVICES

Buying and/or selling a home can be one of the most exciting, significant and stressful decisions you will ever make, and one you will live with for a long time. As with any major purchase, it’s best to have as much information as possible to make an educated and informed decision for you and your family. Let me, a professional certified home inspector, help you make this decision by giving you peace of mind and assist you in making an informed real estate decision. At HomeView Home Inspections, our comprehensive inspections and commitment to honesty, accuracy and integrity bring peace of mind to every client. We are an independently owned and opened home inspection firm. We take the time to do the job right the first time. With a thorough home inspection, you will cut the risk of major issues, hazards or deficiencies. A professional home inspection will:

  1. Assess the condition of the home and all of its systems

  2. Identify components that are not performing properly as well as those that should be replaced.

  3. Determine areas where repairs may be needed or those areas that have had past problems.

  4. Provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the conditions of the home as observed at the time of the inspection.

Most of your inspection will be maintenance recommendations, life expectancies and minor imperfections. It’s good to know about these things. However, the issues that really matter will fall into four categories:

  1. Major Defects such as structural failure.

  2. Things that could lead to major defects such as roof flashing leaks.

  3. Things that may hinder your ability to finance, legally occupy or insure the home.

  4. Safety hazards such as an exposed live buss bar at the electrical panel.

A professional home inspection by HomeView Home Inspections will be communicated through a detailed computer generated inspection report, which includes descriptions of all the systems in the home and pictures of any problem areas, as well as any recommended improvements. This will help you prioritize the improvements and develop a blueprint for your future in the home.

Please take your time and look through our website. You will find a lot of useful information about home inspections.

We look forward to working with you.
