MAINTENANCE INSPECTION

Many people believe that a home inspection is only conducted in conjunction with buying or selling a house. While this is generally true, a Home Maintenance Inspection can also play a vital role in the overall condition and maintenance costs of your existing home as well. 

 

The Periodic Maintenance Inspection consists of an inspector visually examining the readily accessible systems and components of a home which are;

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Home Maintenance Inspection will normally take 1-2 hours to complete, after which we will provide you with a complete list of our findings and recommendations. We recommend that a Home Maintenance Inspection be conducted at least every two years. This will allow you to keep on top of any developing maintenance issues, as well as help you to identify and correct existing damage that you may not know about, allowing you to save money by addressing minor maintenance issues now before they turn into major problems. 

 

By maintaining your home, you are actually maintaining your homes value. Performing routine maintenance and making timely repairs is something that every home owner should plan for. Home Maintenance Inspections do not predict the future performance or failure of a given system or piece of equipment, only it's present condition, which in most cases can give you a reasonable estimate on it's remaining life expectancy based on general industry guidelines.
